2010-2011 Schedule

A couple new faces show up on our schedule next year.

Home schedule word:

Early word is we are hosing a couple preseason NIT games. We also will host UNC-Greensboro and VMI along with the return game from Tulane.

Re: 2010-2011 Schedule

We play at Wake Forest next year as part of the Preseason NIT if I'm not mistaken as well.

Re: 2010-2011 Schedule

That game would go well into the 100's I would think with both of our styles of play.

Re: 2010-2011 Schedule

Long Beach State is also being rumored as an OOC opponent.

Re: 2010-2011 Schedule

Hopefully we can get some good Home games and some good road games(outside of Wake)

I'm guessing UR on the road

Correct. But we win there at a higher clip than the ticks do, so that may as well be considered a home game.

Well that's a given since we play UR every year. It would be away.

Wake Forest-Away
Richmond- Away
VMI- Home
UNC-Greensboro- Home
Long Beach State?

The Alabama series doesn't start til the 2011-12 season right?

Tulane home as well.

Re: 2010-2011 Schedule

I don't know much about UNCG and VMI but I hope we play some stronger teams. Next years team will be crazy awesome and we should be pushing for a bunch of tough games to build our resume just incase.

Beating Wake in the NIT would help, but if we lose to them we will be playing a bunch of crap schools

I bet name teams don't want to have anything to do with us next year.

I suspect that is why we are participating in the preseason NIT. Not going to pick up many games with the major schools next year. I would like to see us start some series with solid A-10 teams.

Maybe Dayton? All the other CAA big dogs(ODU, GMU) can get them in a H&H why not us?
