RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Commonwealth University pounded out a season-high 18 hits and swept the three-game series against Cleveland State with a 13-1 victory Sunday afternoon at The Diamond.
VCU won for the fifth time in its last six games and improved to 7-3 on the season, while Cleveland State has dropped seven of its first eight games of the 2010 campaign.
