He just picked up the Iowa offer on 9/5. I would say that the decision day coming so soon after the offer is not a great sign for us. But who knows?

Also, the "favorite" doesn't make the final 3

Truthfully I thought we were possibly leading for Adlan. With his announcement coming so soon after his official visit to Utah State coupled with a late Iowa offer and this taking place before his scheduled visit to VCU does not bode well. That said, he has unofficially visited VCU and local prospects often save their official visit until after their commitment. Imagine a future front court of Luke, Big Silas, and 6'9" Adlan on the court together. That would have wow factor.

Maybe he has seen all he needs to see and we are his choice.

AA needs to talk to one of his friends.
 
Honestly I have no clue why anyone would commit to a school so early, to a school so far away, that he has never visited. And one that just offered. Iowa is not everyone's cup of tea.

Who knows. I will remain hopeful even if I can't be confident

Name Image Likeness? At least at Iowa
 
It's still competing against Utah and Penn States. And we are the Commonwealth. No one else lays that claim.
