For all the talk about the revolving door of players being 'run out' of VCU who transfer out by some rival fans, the NCAA released their APR numbers today VCU had the third-highest APR in the CAA with a very solid score of 975. Brian Mull had the numbers for the conference in his blog:

George Mason 995
Drexel 985
VCU 975
Hofstra 974
William & Mary 961
Towson 959
UNCW 957
Old Dominion 947
James Madison 941
Northeastern 937
Delaware 921
Georgia State 920

Do we take a hit for transfers, no matter their status or progress elsewhere?

We only take a hit if they do not graduate. They are still on the VCU clock regarding APR. We just don't have any control over them after they leave. The flip side of this, though, is Jay Gavin and Jamie Skeen are not on the VCU clock. They are on their previous school's clock.

Regarding VCU players leaving early or transferring, Sanders, Grayson, Kearse and Brown are still on the VCU clock.

Ole Domino whose posters accuse us of being a ghetto school and recruiting thugs for our basketball team coming in a solid eighth place. Not dead last, but pretty darn close.

Not dead last.

Read in the Washington Post that 925 is the start of sanction land. Ga State and Delaware looking at any penalties?

I was going to say something like that, but couldn't really find the words. This works.

Some of the UD folks like to be high and mighty about this kind of stuff too. Look where they are.

Let me just say this ...VCU is a darn good school. While the Old Dumb University is known for nothing academically... We are known for The School of Business, The School of the Arts, and our Medical Center...we have a wide range of options for any student...and not only that... for VCU to be an urban University it aint half bad lookin'.. Hats off to the stat man!!...The Haters are still going to hate but you know what ...if we weren't any good then they would not be hatin'...Shout out to our beloved University... :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:
