I'm calling it now. Let's blackout Richmond.

Good point. That's true...Ohio does it because they are in OSU's shadow.

Richmond has been playing in our shadow for a long time.
 
That works for me. Hopefully we can get the AD behind it and get it hyped up a bit around campus. It came together pretty well last season on very short notice. I think it would be cool if we made a blackout and goldout an annual thing each year.

heck then they could start selling t-shirts at the bookstores (much like Tech does) and gain a profit off that. If you make it a staple, the people will buy the shirts.
 
We need to buy a real Ram and bring it out on the court like Colorado does the buffalo. :lol:

PS-- anyway to put this on the back of the black t-shirts

Yeah, after just a few years of coming to games I now have a ton of VCU t-shirts so I rarely buy any t-shirts from the book store other than CAA title or March Madness stuff. I am sure others have gotten this way as well, but I would gladly make an exception each year and buy a blackout and goldout combo. Tech comes up with some pretty good designs and slogans, maybe we could have a contest to do the same. Even something as simple as the Richmond skyline and the Run This Town tagline would be pretty cool for the Richmond game.
