scroll down to the bottom for the championship bracket

urgh :? They have to win the championship on the road... In St Louis. I doubt many Ram fans will be able to make those games with such short notice.

Very suprised by that. I really thought VCU would be the higher seed and get two home games. I guess VCU didn't want to pay for two home games :?: :?:

Just received confirmation from the Gazelle Group's media contact:

Monday at VCU at 7pm ET
Wed/Fri at SLU at 8pm ET (Fri if necessary)

Nice. Build some confidence and momentum with a nice capper at the Stu, then let's end the season by getting the road monkey off our back. Gotta think the whole losing on the road thing will be in our guys heads going into next season, but here we would conceivably have two opportunities to get a big victory on an opposing team's court (assuming we take care of business at home).

Don't forget

1) Saint Louis was still in bubble consideration until about a week before the end of the season, they got screwed out of the NIT just as much as we did.

2) The athletic department has been looking at this as a learning experience as much as a winning experience and being in a championship environment on the road would be good experience for the team.

Yup. Big win at home, then we get a mulligan on the road if we need it.
