VCURamNation/RRR: Pierria Henry commits to VCU!

one thing that cannot be overlooked in this is that WV just went to the final four and is sending 2 guys to the nba this year and we took a guy who has an offer from Huggins out of their own back yard.

You'll see soon. No reason to talk about guys before they've committed. Coaches from other schools read these boards too.
 
Did his injury cause the high majors to back off thus opening the door for us to get the verbal?
 
It could be, but I doubt it. I don't see why they would just pretend he never had them all of a sudden though. He still had offers from those schools.

Scout and Dave Telep have this thing about mids and that if you go to one, you simply weren't offered by the big boys unless you are an established mid-major power like Butler or Gonzaga. You all say Henry's profile, prior to VCU, offers from Akron, Marshall, West Virginia, and Xavier. After? Oh let's just drop the high majors since he couldn't have picked VCU over them. :lol:

Honestly I don't care about that I mean we see that hes good an that he's coming to VCU it shouldn't matter if he was offered by Kentucky, Kansas, Villanova ect who care we got him thats all that matters an lets hope he stays healthy an can come in an make an impact
 
Another great verbal to the Rams and remember that Capel and Grant felt they couldn't compete with the big guys while here.
