Vegas scared of vcu!

Saw this thought it was interesting read. Wish I still gambled!

"VCU is the one team that we don't want to win," he said. "Every other team is good for the house."

"Given the lines set in each game, the odds were 1,371-1 against VCU reaching the Final Four, said gambling expert RJ Bell of Pregame.com.

Kornegay said VCU was included in a list of 19 teams given as a field bet before the tournament started -- with 200-1 odds if any of them won the title.

"Once they beat Georgetown pretty handily, then they started getting some interest," he said. "I've been doing this for 22 years, I can't remember a field team making it to the Final Four.""

That kinda worries me. I hope that nothing fishy happens with officiating because of the fear that we can pull this off.

It should be fine as long as we play our game, although I did get nervous today when Shaka picked up the technical... I almost lost hope. I kept thinking in my mind how the players would respond if our coach was kicked off the floor during this pivotal game. Glad I didn't have to worry. We kept our composure, didn't give up, and played fearless.

Yeah that T looked real suspect because Shaka didn't appear to say anything. The announcers tried to justify it by saying Shaka took to the court a certain way. I expect our boys to come out to play hard once again.

He did get out on the court and go right for the ref. He had been riding them pretty hard about that foul on Brad which should have been a shooting foul. I could see the refs making that call legitimately. The Fire Shaka crowd finally saw him get T'ed up. They have absolutely nothing left to nancy about now, and not a moment too soon.
