anyone else experiencing video problems with major buffering issues and then stalling of the video player???

YES!!! I missed over about 3 straight minutes along with several "buffering" and just picture freezes.

I finally shut down my computer connected to my TV and started up my netbook and now it seems to be working for the last minute of half and now halftime. So not sure if it is one wireless computer or the vcu server.

i think the server went down for a few mins then came back up. i had trouble with the constant buffering until the 7th min, and after trying to reload to restart it, the website was blank. a few minutes later, it went back up and now it's not acting up. hopefully that continues...

Last year when the broadcast was free, I just took it as you get what you get.

$60 isn't a huge amount, but trying to watch this is extremely frustrating. Of the last 10 minutes of the 1st half, I am being very generous in saying that the longest continuous feed without a freeze or buffering was about 90 seconds.

If anyone else is considering buying this I would give serious pause.

completely unf*cking watchable for the 2nd half. Every 2-4 sec I get a darn stall. I haven't seen a basket yet in the 2nd half!

Under 16 timeout stats (yes I counted)

picture freezing 54 times
"buffering" 12 times

This really sucks.

i'm getting a perfect continuous feed, it's probably your internet connections

same here...make sure you email tech support for a refund. If the email is not sent during the game they will not even consider it.

If the feed is this bad I may not buy it.

I understand people saying "buy it to help VCU use the $$ the turn into a big time program"

big time programs dont have crappy feeds

The feed isn't tv quality, sometimes the names aren't able to be read but you could obviously distinguish each player on the court. I don't think the server is large enough to stream that much audio and video to a lot of people which was why it must have issues with buffering. Honestly, I had a solid connection during the entire 2nd half. If you do buy it, you buy pretty much a 90s tv quality feed that may have some server issues. You're also going to need a fast connection.

I would like to know where the problem is....at my end (other ppl having problems so not sure it is my end), the contracting company providing the feed to us, or VCU (their processing equipment).

I don't see where it can be me...I watch hulu w/o problem, netflix w/o problem, and stream from espn360 w/o problem.

I think I actually saw about 5 total baskets in the entire second half!
