Vince Williams - NBA Thread

Wow. Vince singe handedly brought the Grizzlies back in Berlin. Also, gave them the lead. He misses one shot and out of the game he goes. You have got to be kidding me.

His replacement came in and missed 2-3 pointers, and threw the ball away, also got scored on.

No one on that team plays D as well as Vince.

Vince/Grizz live in London, 1130am today starts NOW
More like at least a 1/2 hour start delay, so starts... NOW. Looks like Morant is gracing us with his presence today.

I have no idea what that means for him, except that he's leaving a spot where the coaches trust and play him. I hope he was someone the Jazz actually wanted and not just a throw-in body to make the ridiculous NBA numbers work
Agreed. I don’t know anything about the Jazz and how this will affect his playing time. I really enjoyed watching him develop in Memphis.

I'm OK with it...the Grizz Owner seems like a real robber baron sh#t bag type...Go Vince!!

I don't know enough about Utah's roster to say for sure, but I'm not too worried about him getting PT. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it's somewhere other than Utah.

With Vince having a club option for next year he could have been thrown in as an expiring.

This is a bummer. Hate the Jazz. But at least it looks like they're playing to win now (they haven't for awhile).

I think Vince will find a way — whether with Jazz or someplace else. The man is a skilled defender.

He's gonna have to carve out a role for himself. With JJJ heading there too I'd imagine they push Markkanen to the 3 and Ace Bailey to the 2. That leaves Vince battling mainly with Svi Mykhailiuk, Cody Williams and Brice Sensabaugh for bench wing minutes.

The silver lining is other than Markkanen and Keyonte George, pretty much all of the remaining players that see the floor get 18-28 mpg, so he should have some level of opportunity.
