Its Monday and VERY little dialog about the upcoming game against Tulane. To me, this is another major test for this team because we need to be able win on the road in order for this season to be a success (didn't Mack win a lot at home but couldn't win on the road?). Even if Tulane doesn't have a great record we need to start winning these road games.

We also don't know how Skeen's debut impacts the team. Hopefully similar to Saintil's impact Saturday night.

Richmond is over and done, lets focus on Tulane!

I agree. Tulane is another test for us on the road. We've had all our big wins in the relative comfort of the Stu. Tulane isn't the same calibre as Rhode Island, Richmond, Nevada, or Oklahoma, but a tough out on their court. We only need remember that George Mason lost to Tulane just a couple of weeks ago in New Orleans.

Several of us have observed that our team doesn't play well in environments where they have to pump themselves up due to a lack of environment. Tulane is going to be pretty empty if the Mason game is any indication.

The clip shows the Mason-Tulane game highlights. As you can see, the place is next to empty. Our guys are going to have to dig deep and motivate themselves. The Rams are certainly capable of taking this game, but if we don't respect our opponent and come to play, we can just as easily drop this game as we did at Western Michigan.

I'm assuming the semester is over at Tulane so there shouldn't be many students, right?

Their break officially starts on Monday the 21st but some students may leave on Friday

Yeah, this is a big one. We need to prove ourselves on the road. Last year GMU was undefeated at home and couldn't buy a win on the road which helped us beat them in the regular season. A big part of our regular season CAA success over the past 3 years has been being able to take care of business on the road.

From the video of the Tulanae-GMU game, the crowd looks like another UofR venue. Low attendance. Perhaps our fans attending may be the karma needed.

Just watched Tulane lose to McNeese St-No crowd and the green wave was terrible-we better not lose to them
Also Richmond got it handed to them tonight at SC. UNCW gave Wake a decent game

If McNeese St can beat them at home this way, we better blow them out. :?

From the Tulane Athletic Web Site:http://www.tulanegreenwave.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/121609aaa.html

Less than 1500 in attendance. This is not a good team, but we can't be over confident going in on Saturday. We are 1-2 on the road this year. Time to even up that record. GO RAMS!

I'm not saying this game will make or break our season, but a loss could really hurt our R.P.I. as well as our credentials for an at large bid. We need this one.

If we do lose I don't want to hear the we lost because we don't play good in empty arenas crap

I would take over that arena myself, and provide Karma. . .

who wants to sponsor me :)

Ya'll do realize their is good and bad Karma. 13 posts and no evidence of which kind you idiots want.
