My thinking about "NIL" is that the mid-majors will be the one's doing the "old school" recruiting... I.E. flying into remote areas and cities to see kids play and hopefully meet their coaches and family and do all the things they have always done and tailor and mentor kids wo will move up... Seems like the mid-majors are being taken advantage of by the NCAA and the BIG BOYS... They spend their money and for what??? One year??? Two??? Tell me where I'm wrong...
I mentioned the possibility of the mid-majors suing the NCAA... Unless someone can talk me down off the ledge, this seems like the only way this can work in the long run... If mid-majors have to recruit a new batch of freshmen every year it's going to cost them a lot more to fill their rosters... That means more money - and staff - over time... It's still a little early to see if that is actually happening but it seems like common sense??? No???
I donno???
