I totally agree with you but he cans still play post D better. Both things can be true but Luke isnt a top 5 defensive player. Top 5 shot blocker yes. Zeb’s a better defender. Also, awards are subjective.

If you look at our last weeks lost Luke let that skinny 7 footer drop 10 critical points. He left him open for two three pointers and and he got to missed assignment dunks on Luke.

Can’t argue with that. But you can also win in the tourney by shooting a very high percentage from 3, and making free throws. Let’s hope for both!

Defense and free throws are what travels, shooting doesn't always. We will do just fine if we play defense like we're capable of and make free throws to your point. I'm going to assume we will shoot closer to our norm from 3 which will definitely be helpful, considering how poor we shot against Dayton (crap happens). Ironically, I think our least favorable match-up or potential match-up outside of the championship game (IF we make it that far) is actually our first game. We probably couldn't have drawn a worst first round draw for us than we did. Duquesne has won 3 of the last 4 games against us and Saint Bonaventure has won 4 of the last 5 against us. I think this will be a good test right out of the gate.

That being said, if we can't handle Duquesne or Saint Bonaventure than we simply do not deserve to be in the field of 68.
