Not sure when we have recruited a kid with a higher level sheet, especially a legit big man.

I'm not really sure what his long term prospects are at VCU; he seems to be a bit of a vagabond at least in HS/prep, but for as long as we can keep him (let's hope 4 years!) he's going to be a HUGE addition to the roster.

If he can drive to the rim or shoot threes, I hope he develops into a DeRon Holmes type player. I think DaRon also went to AZ Compass as well. I hope this happens!!
 
Odom gets 9/10 for me in the offseason.

1. Shulga back. 2. Experience and talent in from Clemson and UT Arlington. 3. New Mexico home and away 4. Late cycle freshman pickup who was a 4 star composite and looks like a real athletic player. 5. Terrence Hill Jr looks like a baller.

It looked pretty bleak there for a bit but Odom really came through. Great offseason, can't wait to see this team together.

Congratulations to RO and his hard working staff. They pulled off a real coup. While P5's were in a feeding frenzy in the Portal RO stepped in and nailed a 4* Big Man with tremendous upside. Luke was the best 2024 big on the board and we beat out some serious competition to secure him including an ACC school. Luke will be the top 2024 Freshman coming into the A10 this year. He has moved us up to #2 in the conference rankings in terms of recruiting. 4* big men with his talent and skill-set are very tough to land.
 
I have said over and over that Odom knew things and that I just felt that there was at least one big he was working... I'm not quite predicting... This team is pretty rock solid going into the season so let's just play ball... Always good to have one scholarship in your pocket...
