Great article. However, I do not think he needs to transfer up to a P4 school if ne is going to jump to the NBA early. Larry jumped. Maynor could have, and Bones actually did recently.

Plus the author forgot to mention is Dad’s connection to VCU.

VCU isnt an ordinary MidMajor. We have had former players that have earned NBA championships as players, 1st rounders, 2nd rounders, Lakers, Celtics, and NBA championship coaches.

You definitely cannot assume that "everyone stays". We have off season to worry about that.

I noticed Sammy's older brother Shareef is averaging around 10ppg. and 6 boards as a freshman starter at Lafayette. He is 6'8" 255lbs. and majoring in Physics and Biochemistry. I believe he chose Lafayette over Princeton. Size wise he must be built similar to Daddy(Marc). Perhaps not quite as tall.
