And the mascot of a very good basketball team - will be an interesting series for sure. Charleston and BU fed right into our style - the Billikens won't. They were 4th in the A-10 this year ahead of Rhode Island, Charlotte and Dayton. Common opponents - they beat Rhode Island, split with Richmond and lost to GW. It looks like the most points they allowed all year was 73 ............... will be more great experience for our squad.

I don't know what a Billiken is, but I do know Coach M knows his X's and O's, especially when it comes to D.

It wouldn't surpise me if the game one was under 125 points total. We'll have to 1) rebound, 2) value possessions, and 3) make foul shots. This will not be a sexy series, and may come down to a battle of wills.

VCU will have its work cut out for them against the Billiken's coaching staff. We have more player depth, but with slow-down style of Billiken's I don't think it will be nearly as important a factor compared to most post-season teams.

My wife and I were watching the game just now and she even asked why does their coach look like their mascot... :oops: :shock: Jaba the hut wanna be.... they really should make him wear a bra...

It may be a more accurate imitation if he shaves his ass and walks backwards. Majerus is quite the looker.
