We seriously need some new chants...
Last Friday, I though my head would explode if I heard "Let's Go R-A-M-S clap-clap-clap clap clap" one more time. Plus, we can't really use that one (or "Ram It," really) on wednesday v. Rhode Island. Let's brainstorm and try to come up with some new ones for our guests this week.
1. Maybe we could even get the cheerleaders and dance team into it. Have someone on one end hold up a sign that says "Black," and the other end hold up one that says "Gold" and alternate them so we can coordinate a cross-gym chant. We could also do "Go" and "Rams". Also, if each end did the same color every game, eventually the crowd would just know to do it.
2. Instead of "V-C-U-clap" maybe change it up sometimes and say "Black-and-Gold-clap"
3. For Richmond, when it gets down to the end and we are up by 25 (or 10) instead of saying warm up the bus, we coulod do the GRTC chant we did at the VUU exhibition game.
What ya' got?
