What we need, soon

I like it, though I think we may need to simplify it to "Rams, -> sheep" just because I can see some dumb kid saying "What's a Yous?"

One problem. That sounds a lot like the "Winning team Losing team chant." Unless both the West side and East side join in on the "Rams- sheep" chant it will look really weird because if one side has to chant both it will be pointing to both benches. Usually a pointing chant works better when its done from the side of the court. Baseline makes that chant much more difficult.

Side note: Let's Go Rams was done a lot during the Nevada game. I also agree with the person who said the defense chant needs to be slowed down. I mentioned that last season when it was going way too fast.

Nice suggestions. I would suggest the crowd making fun of a player of the other team
EXAMPLE: Against nevada i had court side seats, we kept yelling out YOU SUCK BABBIT!!!

Making fun of Nevada player Luke babbit

that would be hilarious

No need to wait I will pipe in. I was sitting near you and ...well...basically it was weak...yelling “you suck” all game long (and I mean ALL game long)...very imaginative.
Love the passion and certainly the endurance but when he was pouring in a game high 27 points it kind of rang a little hallow. You were ripping on his hair cut for awhile which was funny, but you gave up on that and went back to the old standard.

Can we PLEASE have a subforum for this stuff? Or move it to OT or something? That way the three or four people that actually care about this stuff/think they can actually change how the crowd will chant can do it in private?

Hey, at least it is more relevant to VCU basketball than some guy living in NY coming to Richmond, which also somehow got its own thread...

Ah, but there are two major differences:

1. There has only been one Sometimes is returning thread, and we've to suffer through years and years of these "chant threads."

2. My thread actually accomplished something as I got to meet up with plenty of people I hadn't seen in a while. These "chant threads" haven't ever accomplished a single thing. Ever.

Sometimes, I think I see where you are coming from. One added note: I don't like any cheer or chant that picks on the opposing team member. It just lacks class, in my opinion. I think VCU fans are a level above that.

Then I make it my goal Wednesday to change this...
