What was on the court causing delays for those of us at the game?

Apparently the fog machines from the pre-game left some slippery residue on the floor..
 
It's baby powder. Odu mascot threw it up in the air a la Lebron. Except a whole lot more of it. It is all over our offensive side of the court.
 
It was blaine taylor's cocaine stash. He couldn't find a working toilet in the coliseum so he had big blue "get rid of it"

What does the CAA do about this, are there any repercussions from the conference or the NCAA?

Throwing objects on the court is a technical foul charged against the home team. In this case, that should have been ODU as the higher seed.

What a bunch of morons... The refs, the mascot... Everybody sucks but us.
 
they should have gotten a technical just on the fact it was so obvious it came from them. They didn't even get thrown out....

the home team/higher seed things shouldn't even come into play since it was someone officially affiliated with ODU who did the throwing... it's not like a random ice cube out of the crowd or something, it was their freakin mascot
