Maynor is in a tough situation behind Derron Williams in Utah...Inge is hot off an MLB All-Star appearance...HR Derby contestant. Rollins is really heating up though with that big win in the Reno-Tahoe Open...and was in good position at the start of Sunday at the PGA Championship...

Tough call, but I'm leaning Inge right now. Love the direction Rollins is headed in...but the competition is tough (the world).

Inge is having a great year yes...will end up probably being his best to date. However his participation in the home run derby should be forgotten instead of highlighted being that he was one of only 8 contestants ever to not homer at all.

I wish sean marshall could get his act together for the cubs. theyve given him a lot of big opportunities, but he cant seem to cut it.

john rollins on the other hand won a PGA tourney a couple weeks ago and had the second best finish of his career in a major over the weekend at the PGA championship. Not a bad way too finish a season at all.

and then there is Eric Maynor. Untested of course but very big in our hearts so it's tough to predict what he'll do.

All I can say is that things are looking great for VCU alumni in the sports world.

was having...after the break he is really struggling ..needs to get hot to help the play-off push

Inge, the Lynchburg native who found fame at The Diamond, has a shot - albeit a long one - to lead the American League in a Key Kategory - K-rations.

With his 124th fanning tonight, the former Ram might make a spirited run at AL leader Carlos Pena (TB), who has a tough-to-catch 147 after tonight's action. Still, there are 40-ish games to go, so the race is on.

While strikeouts might lack the glamour of home runs, triples or walk-off hits, it would be a noteworthy fete for a Ram alumnus to pace the AL in any stat; in the past, the ex-VCU star, known for his pharmaceutical awareness, missed enough games where being a league leader wasn't an attainable goal.

This summer, with additional plate appearances, he just may do it, assuming Pena starts making more contact.
