GAY, again if you want to be a top notch program, you have to do things right and this isnt the way to introduce your flagship sports team, sorry volleyball team

what happened to MM this year? are we having it this week?

Wouldn't really be midnight madness at this point. It would have had to happened on 10/16.

It seems like a pretty standard pre season deal to me. What else would you suggest they do? If you don't like volleyball you could just show up at 8:45 for the rest of it.

i suggest a scrim with the team, maybe a mens vs womens scrim, 3pt contest with players, dunk contest, let the players have some fun and show off what they have to offer, some prizes for fans, make it about the basketball team, not just a second note to the volleyball game

A dunk contest or 3pt contest would be cool. I think I would actually prefer the 3 point shooting to see what some of the new guys are bringing to the table in that area. Maybe you could e-mail the address above and suggest that. Last year they did the black and gold game as a separate event which was open to the public. Hopefully that will be the case this year as well.

I support the entire athletic program and have no problem with a volleyball game before the activities. Come watch volleyball and you might get hooked on an exciting sport (and support our women).

I can wait 'til Nov. 5 for them to say Hi. Their plate is pretty full. I am curious about that closed scrimmage opponent supposedly from the A10. I'm guessing Richmond.

The closed scrimmage is against LaSalle.
