Who Needs The Bubble When You’re A10 Champions?

If I’m the Non P4 I’m having a meeting about walking out together to make a new league. Big 12, Big 10, etc have already been privately meeting. Otherwise nothing will change. Make it look like you are ready to walk out. If they call the bluff Non P4 make their own league. P4 are just milking it until they plan to break off anyway.

First thing is first though I’d call an emergency meeting of all non P4 and make it known as public as possible that it was happening. Despite what the P4 think there’s power in numbers. It’s gonna atleast make them go “Hold up let’s not doing anything rash guys. Let’s talk.” Maybe atleast get us a seat at the table. Right now we’re under the table and they throwing left overs to us like a dog.

in 2026 , the P4/P5 possibly becomes the P5/P6 when the Pac 10/12 start anew (wash. st., oregon st., san diego st. fresno st. utah st. col. st. boise st and gonzaga b-ball only - they need one more football school to be recognized as a conference and would not initially be an autonomous conference

the elite conferences for basketball will be ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, SEC and possibly Pac 10/12

I think VCU's best chance is Big East expansion and the next thing we can do to begin to open this door is get to the Sweet 16 - show we are a Big East conference talented team

second thing is to keep Odom as our coach

I don't follow the intricacies of conference realignment so I apologize if this is a dumb or ignorant question. But I've seen all the talk over the past few years of wanting/needing to go to the BE. But what about ACC? There's the trio of NCSt, Duke, UNC. There could be uva, tech, VCU...if even only for basketball.

So, as many of us know, bracketology is really about projecting the last four teams in. It appears that Palm whiffed on three of the four. Why does anybody pay attention to this guy again?
Thank you for this note.
Jerry Palm.
Just putting this here as I know it's likely to be searched about 325 days from now.

The problem here is needing football. It's also a problem for the ACC itself, since Clemson and Florida State would love to skedaddle themselves, but there's no realistic shot at seeing us in the ACC while football is part of the equation.

Yeah, if anything were to happen to the ACC I think JMU gets a call well before we do unless it is a complete collapse like we saw with the Pac12

1-Big East
2- New improved version of the A10
3. Entirely new basketball centric conference

Best chance might be 2

Agreed. If the Mountain West can figure out how to get four teams in, with a fifth team on the bubble, why can't the A10?

He will spin that as getting 65 of the 68 correct! To be fair I haven't heard of many people that had UNC and Texas in. The committee definitely threw the bracket guys a curve ball this year. Even the betting sites had them both as long shots and they are not doing it just for clicks like the other guys.

That's exactly what he and Lunardi do. I could get 65 out of 68 correct and I barely follow anybody outside of VCU. What you just described shows how this bracketology stuff is a scam. Nobody knows the formula to get those last few at-large spots because there is no consistent formula. Anybody claiming to have cracked the code is full of it.

I have no problem with people who do this as a hobby. It's people like Palm and Lunardi (especially Lunardi) who are complete frauds and are making millions off this. They really irk me.
