ok is this a serious question? lol Nba career or 1st team caa? I'll Go larry

Depends on how you define the question ...

Sanders is the far-better NBA prospect.

However, if the decision is to be based on combining points/rebounds of the two in question vs. CAA opposition - numbers that could dictate CAA Player of Year, it's a borderline call.

Here's my prediction, statistically:

Sanders averages 14 points, 11 rebounds for 09-10; Lee, the Finish Phenom, averages 21 points, 10 boards. Of course, in terms of shot-blocking intimidation, Sanders outshines Lee like a silver dollar outshines a wooden nickel.

Prediction, draft wise.

Sanders, No. 11 overall.

Lee heads back to Scandanavia for long career in the frosty tundra.

Lee, the Finish Phenom, averages 21 points, 10 boards.

i have a hard time believing that a guy who averaged 5.7 boards a game last season, and has only 7 double digit rebounding games in his entire college career, will average 10 per game. he may boost the average up to 7 or 8, but i don't see any more than that.

what exactly are we picking them to do?
Just a Hypothetical.....in general...say if you had to pick a player to lead your team to a conference title...someone you know will get the job done...why would you pick him over the other guy?

Right now, I've got to go with Gerald Lee. Let's be honest here, unless Larry has a giant improvement over the summer, then Gerald is the better player right now. He may not be anything flashy or spectacular but he doesn't get in foul trouble and his hook shot is hard to block.

I have always said that Lee is a great player, and anyone that says he wouldn't have liked to see him wearing Black & Gold isn't paying attention to his game. That being said, if we are talking about the most recent season I would have to go with Lee. Larry has tremendous upside, but the UCLA game could have ended very differently with Lee in that game.

On the other hand, from the reports I'm reading regarding Larry's improvements this summer, I'll go with a hunch and say that I'd take Larry for the upcoming season.

Frankly, deciding on Larry on Gerald will entirely depend on what the makeup of the rest of the team looks like. If you are short inside and need a defensive presence or if you like to run and play an uptempo game then Larry's your guy. If you play a slowdown game and need a consistent scoring punch in the halfcourt then perhaps Lee is your guy.

Larry would be my pick. Especially if he can stay out of foul trouble. If he can he will easily average 10 boards a game.

Lee can't even get off the ground. Let's face it, he is the star of a really weak team.
