Why is Juvonte Reddic Wearing Number 5?

Maybe other players have played with this number on their backs since the mid-1980's, I don't know. But Number 5 is Calvin Duncan's number? Shouldn't his number be retired since he is in the VCU Athletics Hall of Fame?

To my knowledge we haven't retired any numbers, just a handful of jerseys. Brandon wore the #5 for his first two seasons before changing to #32 before last season.
