Will this finally mean official VCU jerseys?

I know that many of us on ramnation have griped and groaned about not being able to purchase an official VCU jersey from any number of vendors selling our team's merchandise. Do you believe that our current drive to the NCAA tournament championship will be the final cry for what we all know we deserve, an OFFICIAL VCU jersey?
 
You would definitely think so. I know I did hear one of the employees (that seemed to have some superiority) at the VCU Bookstore say that they're going to get Brandon Rozzell jerseys in sometime soon. Hope that's true, because they've been lying to me about my Elite 8 shirt... :?

The va book company had tons of elite 8 shirts last i checked, unless you already reserved it through B&N :X

Also, is it bad that one of my favorite things about this run is how much better the VCU merchandise is getting?
 
I think we're going to see a lot of growth in the merchandise department due to the run we've made. Changes for the better are gonna be here soon!

Agree, if they make those authentic jerseys of players from this special team, the stores could keep them in stock for more than 2 minutes before they all sell out.

I know they can't use the names of players... at least not the ones who will still be playing after this season... but it does make me wonder if they would be allowed to license the seniors' names once their eligibility is all done (assuming they signed 'em off on it) ... hmmm ...I'm guessing not, otherwise we might have already seen Maynor and Sanders jerseys

I'm almost certain you can't do that. You never see any college jerseys with names on them, that is unless they are actual game-worn jerseys.
 
As long as I can get an authentic jersey (preferably with a number of someone on our team), I can take care of the personalization myself. If I got a #32 jersey I'd want it to say "The Mayor" anyways. 8-)
 
Also, can a brother get a fitted cap so I can stop looking like a white boy with the bent rims.
 
I'm really looking forward to them getting jerseys, not because I want one... I think non-players wearing jerseys just look goofy as ef... but so you guys can stop whining about it ;)

i wouldn't mind getting Rozzell's jersey. I mean my name demands it. :D
