William and Mary is for real

I'd love for us to go into the Stu ranked.

My first game at the Stu was last season (been putting it off for too long) and it was an amazing time - and that's when W&M had no chance and probably held relatively little interest to the fans.

I can't imagine what that place will be like if we're ranked going in. Heck, even if we drop a game between now and then it should be electric.

Yeah, even though it is a weeknight game I expect it to be quite spirited. I think the crowd will be pretty loud from the tip until the final buzzer no matter what the score is after ya'll were able to come back from being down 17 in the first game. A top 25 ranking for W&M going in would add to the hype even more, not that a double digit winning streak would be any thing to sneeze at if they are not ranked. It would be good to see some W&M fans in the building as long as they don't go home happy. Not too many turned out for the game in Williamsburg.

They had a D1-AA Football playoff game at Southern Illinois on the same day at the same time...so that would account for a significant number of their fans.

Yeah, but still. Attending a game in person is more important than watching a game on TV. Enthusiasm is pretty high for W&M basketball right now though so it will be interesting to see how many turn out for the next one.
