Hey folks.

Heading to Wilmington tomorrow. In the past I've always rolled on the team bus, so my "tour" of Wilmington was walking next door to BW3's, but this time I'm heading down with the wife. I'd like to find a decent restaurant to eat pregame. Looking for suggestions.

Requirements: I'm generally a fan of pubs and dives. Generally anywhere with good food but that you'd also be willing to drink at as well. Even though I'm not boozing tomorrow, it's still the kind of place I gravitate to. I'm not a classy dude, so I don't go to classy restaurants. Think Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.

Thanks.

PS: Please don't move to Off Topic, because that's where threads go to die.

Forgot to mention that I'm not much into seafood, outside of shrimp and a couple of other exceptions.

Rams Can't Rebound's at 5th & Maury St. - Downtown Wilmington across from Front Street Brewery

They have a Shrimp Cocktail to die for, along with a No Tourny This Year Burger (very tasty)
Good service, easy parking and nice bar with 30 beers on tap! Might I suggest the Lacking Senior Leadership IPA or the Not So Smart Stout.

Rollins why not google UNCW and see if there are any local sports bars close by? Also, please cheer our guys to a victory!

I considered that, but it's kind of a crapshoot doing it that way. Word of mouth always seems to work out better.

Trolley Stop, if you want something to grab and go. Dont know the hours this time of year, but awesome hot dogs. I think there is one right off of S. College Rd.

Didn't ATH just give a shoutout to Brian Mull? Not saying he owes you one, but he owes you one. ATH shoutouts do not come cheap.

Too bad you're not a seafood fan b/c there are some great options at Wrightsville Beach (on the water).
