A Worcester woman’s body, wrapped in bedding, was discovered by her landlord earlier this week. But in a more grisly turn, police said the woman, Darlene Haynes, 23, had been eight months pregnant, and someone cut the fetus from her body.

“Detectives are searching for this fetus,’’ police said in a statement last night.




i've heard of plenty of women aborting their fetus, but i can't say i've ever heard of a fetus aborting its mother.

since you all are probably just dying to know, the fetus has been recovered.

allegedly, this woman set up the mother-to-be, met with her to supposedly buy a dog, killed her, and jacked her unborn child. she then drove to topeka, called her husband, and told him she had just given birth to their child. apparently the baby will be ok. that's a heck of a way to enter this world.
