Women Win Again

Congrats to the lady Rams for winning at UNCW. They are 2-0 in the CAA and have a decent winning streak. Up next is a good Towson team that earlier this year beat ACC power Maryland. Towson is also 2-0 in league play. Sunday will be a battle for first place. GO RAMS!
 
The Lady Rams won today (Sunday) against Delaware. I believe they won by 20 points--strong from the beginning and just built their lead. Record is now 10-5.
 
It was Towson, and it was an impressive win. They are in sole possession of first place. Its still early in the season, but all the OOC road games against some strong competition have seasoned this team well. They are off to a great start. GO RAMS!
 
Yes, they won again against GSU. 4-0 in the CAA, sole possession of first place. Another road game at W&M this weekend. GO RAMS!
 
Yeah stinks that Rorie's season is over. That fall against Towson looked really bad though so I'm not surprised it was season ending. The way she was holding her knee while rolling on the court in pain made it pretty obvious it was really serious.
 
Knocked off W&M on the road for a 5-0 conference record and still sole possession of 1st place.

ODU won at JMU.....the Dukes looked like the best team in the league prior to this one.
 
Now all we have to do is beat ODU a couple of times. Next game at home is Thursday, January 21 against Delaware, 7:00 p.m. The band will be there as will the cheer leaders and dance team. What we need is a bunch of fans to show up and give their support for the women! Go Rams! Go!

Elena Delle-Done if you haven't heard of her look her up she plays for UDel and will likely drop 25 and 8 boards on us shes that good I look forward to watching he play.

She was committed to and signed with UCONN, and got homesick at the last minute and is back home at Delaware. Huge game for the ladies tonight against Delle-Done and the Hens!

She also stated she got burned out after AAU and high school pretty much year round so she played Volleyball for a year then came back to the game of basketball sometime last year
