Work Those Quads! (Net Rank Thread)

And apparently (according the the associate chair of the selection committee) their 8-0 record in Q2 games was very "impressive."
Who would've thought that winning 8 Q2 games was more important than losing 12 Q1 games? Oh wait, it's UNC we're talking about.

Oh, and those "impressive" Q2 wins were over:

SMU (okay, this one is fair)
Dayton (UNC won by 2)
Pitt (17-15, 8-12 conf, UNC won at home by 1 and lost on the road)
Wake Forest (UNC won by 1)
Florida State (17-15, 8-12 conf, coach retired midseason)
Notre Dame (15-18, 8-12 conf)
NC State (12-19, 5-15 conf, just fired their coach)
Syracuse (14-19, 7-13 conf)

A gauntlet of basketball power

So if you put our metrics in the ACC ..where would we rank?

Probably have gotten a 6 seed

If we had the exact same record in the ACC the bubble thread would not exist, although we'd probably be a 9 or something because the committee stupidly made Louisville an 8-seed despite them being ranked #10 in the AP Poll and in the top 25 in KP and the NET.

That associate chair was Keith Gill, who used to be the AD at fur. He's now Commissioner of the Sun Belt Conference.
