GETTING INSIDE

If early returns mean anything it looks as if the CAA race this year will come down a tremendous battle between defending champion Old Dominion and a VCU team that has proven itself on the highest level.


Certainly the league has taken notice as the VCU Rams beat both Wake Forest and UCLA in early season games and took No. 24 Tennessee down to the wire.......

You would think the higher-ups would notice. But I give them almost no crediting for thinking for themselves and making rational fact based decisions.

Let's hope this is a different year for them though if it comes down to the nitty-gritty on Selection Sunday.
