I agree, we need to be patient and let the team learn to play together. Being patient is hard to do. I know I have high expectations, this year and every year.
I appreciate the reminder that we don't all have the same knowledge as the coaching staff has when they make line up and game time decisions. The coaches have more information and way more coaching experience than I do.

In terms of lack of defensive effort….I always yell out “stay in their space and don’t give them room to shoot” I can‘t remember the number of times I saw our defense step back and give the Bonnie’s room to shoot a three. VCU needs to not only stay in their space but also put those long arms God blessed them with straight up in the air. Granted, sometimes the shot will go in anyway, but you gotta make the effort…the Bonnie’s shot over 50% from three…they were hot, but we didn’t contest enough of those shots. I am expecting a much better defensive effort going forward. Between the coaches reminding them and viewing film, I believe they will be ready for GW. Go Rams!
