LOVE our TEAM!

Guys, I get what you are tying to do and think the gesture is GREAT! However, a public gathering of more than 75 people flies in the face of good Public Health guidance right now. They shut down the games and people are changing work schedules because of this threat.

This should be a no go.

The event page is marked with proposals for public safety. If followed as proposed and we keep our distance, there's no way anyone can possibly transmit anything to anyone. There's MORE than enough space to gather and keep our distance form each other on that street. Parking is abundant with spring break going. We can sit in our cars if we wish and just honk horns!
MM, I am in healthcare. Not a provider, but I do have a Master's degree in Public Health and have worked early on at both the NY, VA, and DODs, departments of health. Brother I have to tell you that there is ABSOLUTELY many ways one could become infected When was the last time you saw a public space where people stayed 6 plus feet away from one an other?

Corona is serious, two NBA athletes who are young and in the prime of their physical peak both have contracted the virus.

In any event, good luck!

I agree with the basic premise that even if you take every precaution (well, a hazmat suit for everyone may work if used properly), I'm not sure what's the relevance of whether or not someone has contracted a virus speaks to the risk of the virus. Now, if you were to tell me that those 2 were in serious condition, that would speak to the potency of the virus.

I’m two toasts in! I’m sad for how this season went and ended but excited and looking forward to next season.

Personally, I'm so happy this season is finally over. This season needed to be in the rear view mirror yesterday. And the silver lining to today's news was fur not making the NCAA Tournament yet another year.

I do feel for Dayton big time, though. More than any other team that was going to dance this year. Not the way you want to see Anthony Grant and Dayton end the season, being ranked 3rd in the country and a projected #1 seed in the big dance. There was a lot more noise for them to possibly make over the next month.

Each one of us is entitled to our own feelings about a LOT of sht right now, but.. others feel differently.

I feel bad too. But they have the option to return their entire team other than mikesell and landers if they so chose so I don’t feel super bad. (I know that won’t happen)
