I was wondering why they were only 72 in the NET at 20-3 but this explains it:
Q1: 0-2
Q2: 2-1
Q3: 8-0
Q4: 10-0
Doesn't look like they'll have anymore opportunities for Q1 games, but could get a few more Q2 wins.
100% lateral move at best. The only teams left worth getting excited about playing consistently would be Memphis (who desperately wants out), Temple, and WSU. FAU is likely going to end up like Loyola Chicago and become irrelevant soon enough.
To me, their additions aren’t about stabilizing the conference today. It’s about stabilizing the conference for a future date in anticipation that other teams get poached.
Lol this won't last. I fly from California to Florida every two weeks and it just wears you down. I'm actively looking for a new job after 2 years because of it.
This consolidation of conferences to create mega ones will last for maybe 15-20 years, then they'll all decide to split up again into smaller conference so that each member has a better chance of winning conference championships. That's my take.
Wouldn't the remaining PAC-12 teams be better off poaching the best teams from the remaining small conferences?

If I'm the PAC-12, I am going hard after Texas Tech, Baylor, and SDSU. Losing Colorado isn't a big deal and I imagine Oregon and Washington would be enticed to stay if that happened. I think the PAC-12 is still the better option for B12 schools to go to rather than the other way around.
In hindsight, could you imagine if we brought in a new coach who never won an NCAA tournament and paid him 3M a year? LOL, our fan base would lose it!
