I would be shocked if MBJ came back, but maybe it wasn't the fans or Richmond that he disliked as much as the coach or other players on the team.

Hey, hey, hey buddie. I didn’t say we would turn down Ace if he wanted to return, that would be foolishness. I stated we wont need him if Zeb returns.

I’d be shocked in anyone returns as I was shocked when Gilmore returned. However, if we could get any solid guy who can rebound it’d be cool.
 
DeLoach looks pretty irrelevant to whatever Georgia is trying to accomplish tonight. Is that pretty much his role there?
 
He did make a few good hustle plays and drove to the basket. But yeah, he’s a bit player. But that’s his choice, right?

It's not. He was recruited with the promise of being a starter. Instead Georgia has played the whole season without a regular starting forward with several players rotating in the role. JJ has started fewer games than Dylan James and RJ Sunahara, who Mike White picked up almost immediately after JJ committed to Georgia.
 
The road of college basketball is filled with players who aimed higher than a mid major and really made it happen...and also littered with guys who tried the same and were just never really relevant again.....but they had good seats for games and fancy training facilities (that football $$ paid for) and a P5 name on their chest. Those same roads are also littered with the broken promises of coaching staffs who over recruited players are promises were made, cause....k'know, they have careers too...and wanna win and get paid.

he's got a couple years left...I hope he finds a place that will value his skill set

True. Can’t blame them though. As a player you want to beat top level talent, and these guys are confident in themselves and betting on themselves that they can be big time players. It would be tough as a player to turn down p5 opportunities if you haven’t been there before.

I felt compelled to post after seeing his stats for this year...they are eerily similar (and also lesser than) his freshman year...I'm left wondering what HE is wondering....stay at Ga?? Find another school where he can play?? Chase that NIL money?? It'll be interesting to follow..I wish him well...he was pretty fun to watch as a Ram

He can probably get more NIL money here than he can in Athens since 99% of that money is earmarked for football players and recruits. Bring him back here.
 
I feel wrong for putting this here because...well just because but since someone will eventually do it and there will be multiple comments, I figured this is an easy way to get my reality message board laughs by watching the comments
