Players 2023-24 Roster Thread

Did you hangout at Don's Hot Nuts? Perfect location near the Greca and Lee Art.

Ooops, I am off topic. If I hear anything I will convey it although yesterday afternoon went a little haywire. I will do it in spite of the wrath of JacksonWard.
Which I had all the quarters back that I spent at Station Break in my day.

Mike Jones was the prof. of History of cinema, I was told that was the best class at VCU to take, awesome class
Took his < Alfred Hitchcock > class in summer school, years ago.

Interesting fact - In Psycho, Hershey chocolate syrup was used to resemble blood in the shower scene.

Since we we are now officially off the rails.

My freshman roommate in Johnson Hall was a film major. I am not sure if he
graduated from VCU but he went out to Hollywood and worked under Tim Burton on his stop motion animation teams.

He had a big hand in the "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "The Corpse Bride", "Coraline"..he eventually got the animation director job for "Frankenweenie".

Anyway, I remember him telling about an instance where the professor showed an animated porn film strip of "Snow-white and the 7 Dwarves"...that's my only 2 cents in the film professor discussion..

I took an English course at VCU....well, it was a course that fulfilled a 3 cr english requirement. It believe it was called "Fiction in film" or something along those lines. We watched Harold and Maude, Day for Night by Truffaut, Sunset Blvd, Citizen Cain and a number of other films. I think we wrote papers on the films. Was a really good course.

I also took a 3 cr winter break course call Human Sexuality, I believe. It was a very popular course for many students on campus. But it was not that great as a winter break course. After a few days of the course it was no longer fun waking up for an 8 am class where you basically sat there and watched a couple hours of pornos starting at 8 am in the morning and then spent a couple hours talking about it. But on the plus side, you didn't have to worry about walking on a sticky floor like you did at the Lee Arts Theater....LOL

That was the class my roommate was talking about!!

I remember when we were talking about Klintman as a potential recruit. Just finished up his freshman year, about 5 ppg and he is declaring for the NBA (but maintain his eligibility).
I don't understand Reid. WF has 5 current players that are all 6'10" to 7'0" tall if you include Klintman. One of those is transfering as his minutes have dropped. But I also don't see Klintman, at 5 ppg, making it into the NBA this season. So unless he opts to transfer, he will be back at WF. That is a huge amount of competition for Reid who basically rode pine all last season after putting up about 5 ppg his freshman year at LSU. Kid has just 2 years left to show his worth as a basketball player yet he is considering jumping into the fire against 5 other players....all of whom got more playing time than Reid got at Gonzaga.

Perhaps Reid is simply waiting for Odom to return to the states before he announces. Or he is waiting on the May 10(?) transfer portal deadline to see if Klintman enters the portal while also pursuing the NBA.
