Proof-positive that I know nothing about recruiting. Watch the film and explain to me why Corey did not get more love out of HS. Mobile, hard-working, excellent timing on blocks, relentless on rebounds, soft touch, and quick on his first, second and third jumps. And he went to a famous, high-profile HS. Someone needs to explain this to me.

I agree, I think Douglas is an undervalued prospect here.

He's got that Juvonte Reddic type mobility, post and touch. Can see him growing in a tempo defense and being that big that defends guards on the perimeter and gets a lot of breakaway dunks off steals.

done, royally so... and.....
;)
Not a lot of I told you so's that will come from me, but... :D

Oh, and.. have any of you had a REAL CLOSE look at this summer 17 highlight video? This young man has serious GAME, his shooting style, and yeah, his passing is out of this world. And after one year more playing before he comes here, he is gonna explode with skill/improvement.
VERY happy with PJ.

All time leading shot blocker at Ballard hs in kentucky. Same school that produced jeff lamp, lee rake and our own lionel bacon

Will be interesting to see how the conditioning program helps him develop in the net 2 years. He is very slight in build but he is also like 17 yrs old.
I was going to quote MM's post up thread about PJ's comments re conditioning training etc but my fingers on this phone were failing aand frustrated, I said f it :)
It was something along the lines of him growing another year and then seeing the Coach Brown before/after pics.
Gon be crazy!

His passing skills and cool affect while playing is pretty incredible, he's got this way down pat of drawing in defenders, and kicking it out to fellow players.. some of his passes are outright outrageous!

For comparison sake, we basically we got a player who can distribute the ball like Aaron Thompson (4 star), but unlike Thompson is a huge threat from 3 point land (49% this summer). I have a feeling that this young fellow has been significantly undervalued and that he is anxious to show those who slept on him just what they were missing. So stoked that he is a Ram!!!
