The Official Beat the Fordham Rams in the Stu Thread

let us see how committed Mayor Avula is to transparency - (for now it is crickets while they figure out things)

can understand a little of the keystone cops routine early on with a new Mayor and others just as new on the job trying to understand the problem and the solutions they were being told -

to me the most disconcerting information coming out so far is the prior reports they had about deficiencies at the plant and their emergency plans etc

it was obvious that the prior Mayor's attention was foucsed primarily on getting the new baseball park over the finish line and seeeking support for passing the casino (which I still think would have been great for city revenues and addressing a lot of the deficiencies that exist today in the city but the citizens spoke)
At least the mayor wasn't in Ghana...

Last year, you were automatically credited for being at the game when your ticket was scanned and received points. This year, you have to actually go to the app and let them know you are at the game. When you do that, the app justs spins and never updates. The app shows that I have not attended one game this season. What a freakin' joke! Yet another marketing schime by VCU that's turned into a total failure. The VCU athletics marketing department has zero credibility with me at this point.

And, here's where the pizza thing turns into a bigger scam. Last year, the ticket holder received an e-mail with the links to the free pizzas. This year, you only qualify if you sign up for the app. That means each of my family members/friends have to sign up for the app in order to qualify. And where was the e-mail at the beginning of the season explaining this? Just another way to promote free pizza for everyone and then only deliver on a small percentage of the ticket holders. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh trust me….. they don’t tell us about anything like they should. You heard about the $# at the WBB games this year right? And how no one….. fans, season ticket holders nor the players families found out about it til the home opener and literally every players parent who attends games is pissed about it.

They may be more ticketing than marketing but still. They pissing people off left and right.

I dont know if you all heard the water systems expert on the news earlier, but there's no explaining the crisis we're seeing and the closest he can think of is Flint Michigan. The financial impact of this buffoonery will end up costing many different businesses many millions of dollars. Maybe a billion.

Can they at least pipe in crowd noise? How about just Ryan screaming?

Dr. Avula worked for VDH, so I can't imagine he won't be firing some folks when this is over. It's a public health crisis.

Just heard on pre- game no Peppas in the house. That is a real kick in the head!

Let’s go out and crush these guys anyways!
Not like we didn't try to get in, I have some water squirreled away in the Stu and fire extinguishers I offered to bring in to appease those in charge but it was still a "no"...

If ignorant people who cost others money were fired there'd be no city employees.

GO RAMS
