Recap: VCU looked to keep their win streak in tact as St. Bonaventure rolled into the Stu Saturday evening. Unfortunately, the Bonnies had other plans. VCU opened up early but St. Bonaventure wouldn’t back down, snapping the Rams 6 game winning streak in the 61-58 loss for VCU.
Junior Ace Baldwin JR. led all Rams in scoring with 15 Sophomore Jalen DeLoach was behind with 12.
VCU was frigid from behind the arc, connecting on just 2 of 16 from deep. The Rams shot 45% overall (23-51).
St. Bonaventure only turned it over 10 times to VCU’s 12.
Next Game: VCU will hit the road and head down to North Carolina as they face off against Davidson Tuesday January 31st a 7pm. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
