It was a devastating blow as VCU lost the #1 spot in the CAA to Northeastern, even with home court advantage. This loss snaps a 7-game winning streak. Eric Maynor led all players with 30 points, his fourth 30-point game of the season. But ultimately, VCU was unable to climb out of two double-digit deficits.
