Video: The Samir Show, VCU defeats Duquesne

Samir Doughty stole the show last night, putting up a career-high 23 points, with 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, as the VCU Rams defeated the Duquesne Dukes 94-87. VCU's bigs put in quite an effort, with Mo Alie-Cox shooting a perfect 9-9 for 18 points, and Justin Tillman going 7-9 for 16.

Last night was VCU's 6th straight win. They now stand at the top of the Atlantic 10 with a 12-3 overall record, and 2-0 in conference play. The Rams will return home to Richmond to face UMass this Saturday, a 10-5 team looking to avenge a rough 0-2 start to conference play. The game will tip at 1:00 PM, just enough time to pre-game at Buffalo Wild Wings, right?!?!
