I think it's the other way around. If I were the rich producer of the Howard Stern show (not running a VCU podcast) I'd have a team of lawyers.

If they are going to be D1 this coming season, I wonder if they are allowed to jump into the D1 piranha fest portal waters now or wait until next off-season (25').

Well, this is odd. Tiny Ferrum College (enrollment 790) is moving up from D3 to D2.

And here comes a new D1 school. Mercyhurst (already competing in D1 in men's and women's ice hockey) is joining D1 and the NEC.

Of course, if previous jumps to D1 are any indication, they'll win their conference tournament and get snubbed from the 2025 NCAA tournament because of the stupid transition rule.

This is shocking to me. Knowing what I know about the Erie landscape, I'd have never imagined it as an all-sports D1 member.

If they have ice hockey then it's prob a good stadium for basketball. Let's get them in the A-10 and get rid of LaSalle.

Both high schools I went to in the 70's had larger gyms than that, without the nice comfy individual seats though.

I'm not sure I'd want to go to to Erie any more than I normally do in winter. LaSalle is vastly better. Philly v. Erie is no contest.
