I'll never give up on Rose. I've seen what he's capable of, when he gets a few things together he's gonna have a lot of people smiling, he's well loved in this hometown of his, the game becomes a thing he'll love and gets to be lot less anxious when you get the kind of attention and assistance getting there. I hope VCU invests in the right person to help him there, and I feel like that's where the need IS right now.
 
I remember last year Deloach getting a ton of technicals early on and jawing all the time and the board being very upset with him.

Rose really reminds me of that rn. I think he is clearly passionate and in just the 5 mins he was in he caused two turnovers. He was just too hyped. He just needs to reign it in and help us. If he could just be serviceable back up rn it would be a huge plus.

Sometimes it's hard coming back home. You love having all your friends and family there to watch you, but there are expectations and pressures that sometimes you don't have away from home. He has a ton of up side and as we move forward and play some teams with a bigger and maybe not as mobile bigs, he is going to help us.
 
I'm not that concerned about what he's done in games, but I am a little concerned that Fermin, Tobi, Belle and Kuany pretty much took all his minutes. At this stage, that's a result of what everyone has done in practice.

Rose and Kuany’s play thus far (only 4 games so sample size is small) surprising. I thought they would start faster. Clearly they both have significant potential but it’s time to start impacting games. It doesn’t have to be only points. Looking forward to Rose and Kuany starting to gel. We really need them.

Rose is not surprising because he really hasn't played at all in his career. Kuany is more surprising because he was a solid player at Cal. Hope they both can put it together
 
My only concern is he let that dude with the mullet and cheesy porn stache get to him...and the flagrant. He's gotta get that emotional stuff under control 1st.
