It's a wee bit cornfusing but it looks like employees using vcu's networks aren't allowed to have the apps on their devices that connect to the network. For now, the sites are not network-wide blocked (non-employees can/will be able to access them via the network), but that very well may change sooner or later, treated much the same as pornhub.
