His son Conner is into recruiting big time. He is like an encyclopedia when it comes to the portal and high school.

I think it really depends on the player. The Pac12 isnt that tough outside USC, UCLA, and AZ.

However, Jamie Skeen was a wing at Wake but essential a 5 for us. But that was the CAA.

I so agree. He put up decent numbers in a P6 where I know his team was horrible but if he can bring that to the A10 with what seems to be a really really solid squad around him, and what seems to be a really good coaching staff, he could be just what the doctor ordered. I’m really excited about this addition! I really think he’s going to be more productive than what Efton would’ve been.

I was about to post the same. We now have a guy who can play the post late who can shoot a free throw.

As heel stated, he averaged 9 and 5 in the Pac 12 he should be ok in the A10. However, I think as a vet he is a perfect fit and should be good in OOC as well.

No super duper starts but this is a very good team. If Bam is eligible he or Shulga is the Alpha.

I really like the squad relative to what we would have had the other guys stayed. This is not sour grapes. No one compares to Ace but if you map the guys I like it.

Shulga Nunn wash -
Zeb/Nelson. Ace.- Ace
Bairstow - Watkins - wash or Bairstow slightly
Bam - Kern. Bam

I think its close but this new group is slightly better. Now Mike could have added Nelson and Wheeler but I still like Shulga, Bairstow, Kouy, Bam. I think Kern, Watkins, Deloach Banks, Ace, and Nunn are all ballers but so are these guys as well.

We have no reason to hang our heads or be bitter because anyone left.

Same here. If all cylinders get going, we are going to be a nightmare in conference. Seems we will be really balanced especially on offense and will really be able to stretch the floor. Agreed need a solid big down low but if some of the freshman work their butts off this off-season and play up to potential we should be fine there too. Let’s go!
 
What if we didn't recruit freshman? Seriously. Get players that can play the upcoming year. Can happen with the transfer portal and an international pipeline. And I think developing chemistry is overrated. Either you get it, or you don't.

Right, it sounds like sour grapes, but if you look at it statistically, Kuany > Reid. But from a potential standpoint, its probably the other way around. And lastly, Reid said he wanted to play facing the basket. Hasn't really done it, but wants to. Kuany has done it and done it well. Very different players, so the comparison only carries so much value.

I pretty much agree with this but will say I think Odom will get more out of next years group than Rhoades would get out of his. I’m confident we will be way more consistent next year and look more polished. Love the grit from last year’s team though but I think Odom come conference play will have a well oiled machine going.
 
We have two Brits, two Aussies, and one Ukrainian. Nice International roster. Nice talent mix. We will need to work on chemistry.

I’d throw ASU in there as they made the tourney and beat us.
