The Official Beat the Villanova Wildcats in Philly in the NIT Thread

Which one of you legends posted this 🤣

Edit: very nsfw lol

The video is from a few years ago and big on twitter. Mostly on Dayton twitter since Doogz and the Barstool guys reacted to it live, the remixes w/ cuts of us beating Dayton are cool. The fan in the video is on twitter too, can't remember his name but I've met him a couple of times.

Yeah, so I'd gathered. I like going out to eat though, haha.

Odom keeps mentioning being a big fan of Stella's in interviews and I keep thinking somebody's got to get him to some different spots. Not that Stella's is bad, RVA just has a whole lot of good ones.

Edit: what, she doesn't like Crumbl?
I saw him at Grisette in Church Hill in December. Dude def hits the Richmond eats scene!

He needs to come to Mechanicsville, we have more Mexican restaurants and pizza joints per square mile than any other area of the country. If you want high dining, this is the place.
Midlo might give you a run for your money. More Than Greek is pretty good, though. Marigold Thai, too.

I saw an edited video that specifically mentioned Villanova and we beat them for the first time in school history.

I laughed so hard and yesterday i needed one.

The horrendous ESPN broadcast team repeatedly said 39". They didn't seem to know anything about VCU and at one point were naming all-time greats like Eric Maynor, Chris Cheeks, and...uh, Melvin Johnson (yes, he was great, but not Maynor or Cheeks level).

Huh? Melvin surpasses Cheeks in my eyes. Melvin has VCU's all-time record for 3s and he made the NCAA Tournament every single season at VCU.

There's a second Thai place in the Ville now. I haven't tried it yet, though. The new Hanover Smokehouse is pretty good, too.

Okay, I stand corrected.

where is the all-star all-time VCU starting 5 and bench 5 thread?

You can't use career scoring since Cheeks only played 2 years.
True. Melvin was a great four year player who contributed as a freshman. I loved Chris Cheeks. He scored a bunch and he needed to do that on his VCU teams.
