Not the biggest recruit we've gone after (in terms of stars/rankings) but IMO he's a MUST get. Local kid 6'4 with a reported 7'2 wingspan. Built like Briante, taller and less explosive, but also seems to be a much more natural scorer than Bri. A willing defender that lives in passing lanes, and could make an impact as a freshman even without scoring the ball.

Good thing is we're the best offer he currently has (Louisville is P5 but trash), but he has the build to pick up some mid tier P5 offers if he has another great season. Hopefully we're making him a priority now to have a legit shot when those new offers roll in

Ima go see him play.

High lights from last season. It's high lights, but looks to have good potential defending, nice stroke on the three, both catch and shoot and off the dribble, penetrates and kicks well.

yes local commits count as double as far as culture, loyalty, and drive

6'7 2025 grad out of Ohio. Plays on the Adidas Gauntlet, and previously played for All Ohio (Vince Williams' former team) on the EYBL circuit. We offered back in June, and he has offers from Low Mid Majors with interest from other High Mid Majors and some P5.

Limited film on him but from what I can tell he has a GREAT looking jumper. Reminds me a lot of Robbie Beran. Floor spacer that's a solid athlete and decent finisher at the rim with the size to be a capable defender. Could develop into a Bairstow type if he's able to improve his playmaking skills significantly. Don't necessarily see star potential in him, but is a guy you can probably pencil in for 8-10 ppg as an upperclassman in a starting or key rotational role

We are his best offer unless he wants to player at the bottom of the ACC with Louisville and earn more NIL money.

No Stars as of yet but he does have a number of P5's watching him closely. He of course is a 2025 recruit so he has plenty of time to improve his skill-set. I believe he has visited Notre Dame, Va. Tech, and Virginia in addition to VCU. Right now it is all about his perimeter game and his high basketball IQ. He sports high academics.

John Marshall, coming off a 28-0 season, is re loading .... additions include 6-9 Marcus Jackson from Baltimore and 6-1 Aiden Argabright from St. Stephens and St. Agnes ... JM isn't bullet proof, however - Justices just lost to powerhouse Myers Park/Charlotte, led by Notre Dame recruit Sir Mohammed. JM is playing a brutal non-conference schedule ... team hasn't lost locally since 2017.
