Does Dayton report that they sell out ALL of their games???

Yes. For the last several years in fact.

Keep in mind that these are the "reported" numbers" and they do not necessarily reflect the actual number of people present at the games. Most schools seem to report all tickets that have been distributed. This would include all season ticket seats for every game regardless of whether the tickets went unused for some games.

I feel lazy for asking, rather than doing the research myself, but I would be interested in seeing the average attendance as a percentage of full capacity... although that is probably complicated if anyone uses more than one home venue.

I'm gonna predict that Dayton or Slu will be voted preseason championship winner next year. But I think we look pretty good all things considered. Long 8 months.

I guess some predictions of VCU attendance eroding have been proven false? Not talking about donations or season tickets. Looks like fans still finding ways to get to the games.

I don’t know if I’d go that far. We may have sold the tickets but there were definitely games especially mid week games noticeably where there were a lot of empty seats. Still even if numbers are fudged we’re definitely the most attended next to Dayton who is always packed.

URI's reported average of 4,237 was its second lowest in the 20+ year history of the Ryan Center. A poor season with a record of 12-20 very much depressed the numbers. The previous three seasons with sub .500 records also further helped to dampen attendance. Rhody has not had such a bad four year span since the early to mid 1980's. Given that winning typically drives attendance, the team's recent performance is taking a toll on the turnstiles.

distributed the tickets not necessarily sold - between student tickets, player and vistior comps , band , cheerleaders etc I would speculate each game their are 1000+ people in for free

but that happens at most mid major arenas/gyms

Siegel Center on game nights for men's basketball is the first or second best environment in the A10 - Full Stop

John Feinstein certainly thinks so.
